Monday 20th April
Welcome to term 3!
I hope you all had a fantastic Easter break and spent lots of time outside enjoying the glorious weather weโve had. I had a great 2 weeks but Iโm exhausted after all our activities. Did you get up to anything exciting? Remember your parents have my email address if you want to tell me any of the fantastic things youโve been doing.
I know this isnโt the way you thought your last term of primary school would be but the thing is life is so unpredictable. You never know whatโs round the corner or where your journey in life will take you but you have to stay positive and try to make lemonade when life throws you lemons ๐. No, I havenโt gone mad itโs a saying meaning when bad things happen turn it into a positive experience.
You are developing so many wonderful life skills that I simply couldnโt teach you in the classroom just by being at home and adapting to the new routine of life with your family. As the sun shines down on us, we all need to start making lemonade. You have this fantastic opportunity to be at home with loved ones which you may never get again so embrace it. Itโs time to take a deep breath and refocus our thoughts to what truly matters in life and what makes us happy ๐. This may be the time when you realise what you want to be when you grow up. Now I love an emoji so here goes:
Have you got to the point yet that if youโre asked to do the same task one more time you feel like your head is going to explode? Well guess what, me too. If Iโm asked to blow a nose one more time Iโm going to... take a deep breath, smile and say, โYes sweetheart, no problem.โ ๐ Thatโs what we all have to do to get through this. The biggest and best life lesson you can learn at a time like this is that patience is a virtue ๐ง
I hope you enjoy wearing your beautiful Class of 2020 hoodie and maybe it will help you get back into the swing of work tomorrow. Please contact me via e-mail if you need any help or advice or just want a chat.
