The Blue Room children worked in groups using a variety of junk material to design and build boats. Once completed, the boats were tested in the water tray to see if they could float. After confirming their buoyancy, we added pirates and sea creatures to test how much weight they could hold. It was a fun and practical way to explore design, teamwork, and scientific thinking.
